For When You Feel "Behind"
Allll the free resources to get back on track 🤍
Hellooo, I hope you’re having a great summer so far! I’ve been struggling with the feeling of being “behind” this past month, and I know a lot of other people also grapple with that feeling, so let’s talk about it 💌
Real Talk…
In an online world full of highlight reels, let’s get real and dive into the authentic, unfiltered realities of entrepreneurship and being a founder. Here are some behind-the-scenes musings and reflections from the past few weeks… ⬇️
I Dreaded My Birthday This Year
At 31, I thought I’d have it “all figured out”… the perfect career, the dream house, maybe even a kid. But instead, I found myself spiralling into a self-induced existential crisis, comparing myself to where I thought I “should” be.
The truth is, I’ve spent the last 3.5 years living in London, halfway across the world from my hometown, intentionally going against society’s checklist. No mortgage, no kids, no corporate ladder climbing — just carving out a sliver of time to be unapologetically selfish, to grow, to explore, and to build a life I love.
And yet… without the “traditional” milestones, part of me felt behind.
A long journaling session helped me reframe everything — I realized I have so much to show for these past few years:
✨ Deep, meaningful friendships and a solid community
✨ Growing into a more grounded, independent version of myself
✨ Travelling all over the world and expanding my perspectives
✨ Taking big swings in my business, learning and growing through it all
✨ Strengthening my relationship with my fiancé as we built a new life together
These things may not be what society defines as “success,” but they make my life feel full. The ironic part is that I feel happier and more fulfilled now than I ever did when I was chasing accolades.
I unpack it all in this YouTube video, how I reframed feeling “behind” and a mini-vlog documenting how I celebrated my birthday 🎂
Real Business Education…
Free GTM Essentials Course
In my very first weekly vlog, I shared that I was starting a new business (a go-to-market consultancy for Seed to Series A startups!!), and that I was creating a free course called ✨ GTM Essentials ✨

I’ve leveraged 10+ years of experience growing multi-billion-dollar brands, advising startups, and scaling my own ventures into this course. It’s exactly what I wish I had when I started my first business because it would have saved me so much time, money, and stress.
No fluff, no strings attached, just practical insights and proven strategies to help you grow and scale your business with clarity and confidence ⬇️
In 12 bite-sized lessons, you’ll learn how to:

Real Growth…
To be the best founder possible, continuous learning and growth are essential. Don’t let yourself become the bottleneck in your business! Here are some self-development resources I found valuable this past week... ⬇️
15+ Years of Career Advice, Lessons & Learnings
While figuring out what startup or business I wanted to build next, I went back through my entire career to piece together the lessons, the pivots, and the moments I truly enjoyed.
In that process, I realized that in my 15-year career, which started at age 15 when I accidentally launched my first business, a piano teaching studio, I have learned a lot. From teaching piano as a teenager, to navigating business school, to working at billion-dollar corporations, to building and scaling my own businesses, each chapter came with its own breakthroughs and hard-earned lessons.
In this video, I share them all with you, including the real stories, the key takeaways, and the honest reflections I wish I had known sooner. Trust me, you do not want to miss this one.
Women’s Health Education
Candidly, this was a “selfish” Confessions of a Conscious CEO podcast interview. When I met Dr. Stasa Stankovic, the co-founder and CEO of OvartiX and a Cambridge PhD, I knew I had to sit down with her.
As a busy founder who knows I want to have kids one day, I have always wondered how to “balance” both. Many of the women around me are having conversations about egg freezing, IVF, and fertility timelines. When Dr. Stankovic told me that IVF has only a 25% success rate per cycle and that some women experience early menopause, I knew I needed to get the real facts from her.
Women’s health is still stigmatized, underfunded, and underresearched, so I am grateful she shared so much valuable knowledge in this episode. Whether you are navigating your own fertility journey or simply want to better understand the science behind reproductive health, this is a must-listen. She also shares what it is like to build a women’s health startup and try to raise money from male investors, most of whom “do not get it.”
Real Self-Care…
Sustainable success can only happen if you take care of yourself. Self-care is not selfish — it’s necessary. Here are some self-care tools to recharge and stay balanced this week... ⬇️
Self-Care Challenge: ✨ The Lionsgate Portal ✨
Every year on 8/8, the Sun in Leo aligns with the star Sirius and the Orion constellation, creating what’s known as the Lionsgate Portal. Spiritually, it is said to be a powerful time for manifestation, clarity, and setting intentions for the next chapter of your life. Whether you believe in the astrology or not, I like to treat this date as an opportunity to pause, reflect, and get intentional about where I’m headed.
Set aside one uninterrupted hour this week for a “manifestation reset.” Put your phone on airplane mode, light a candle, and journal on these prompts:
What am I ready to release that no longer serves me?
What am I calling in for the rest of the year?
What does my ideal life look and feel like a year from now, and what small daily habits will get me there?
What actions can I take in the next month to move closer to this vision?
Andd that’s it for this newsletter! Feel free to reply with any thoughts, questions, or feedback 🤍
