Mid-launch pivots, burnout truth, and why I started a Substack
A little launch tea, a lot of reflection — and a new space to hang out outside of Instagram
Hellooo! I hope you’ve had an amazing week 🌞
I know I said I’d be sharing my Middle East trip reflections in this week’s newsletter, but once I sat down to write it… things took a turn. It ended up being way longer than expected, and also, talking about religion and spirituality in a “business” newsletter felt a little… weird?
Sooo I bit the bullet and did something I’ve been toying with for a while:
I started a Substack! It’ll be a place where I can share more personal essays, unfiltered reflections, and the behind-the-scenes of building a purpose-driven life and business. Think of it as the slightly messier, more introspective sibling of this newsletter 😉
If you're curious about what my trip to the Middle East taught me about faith, spirituality, and unlearning the narratives we’re often fed — you can read my thoughts here.
Real Reflections
The End of Instagram & The Rise of Substack…?
And speaking of Substack, I had a really interesting convo with my peer-led mastermind of female entrepreneurs yesterday, and we were all saying the same thing: Instagram just doesn’t feel the same anymore.
Yes, every platform evolves — but these days, Instagram feels more like an aspirational lifestyle scroll than a space for depth or genuine connection. It’s giving ✨ brain rot ✨ — and let’s be honest, if you’re logging on for a dopamine hit, you probably don’t want to pause and learn something educational mid-scroll 😂
That’s why I’ve been noticing a growing shift: more and more people are flocking to Substack for longer-form, thoughtful content and real conversations. And I’ve been Substack curious for a while now… so I finally created one and we can hangout there 🤍
But I’m curious to hear what you think! When you go on Instagram, what’s the purpose? Answer in the poll below and let’s see what everyone else says ⬇️

Real Behind-The-Scenes
Mid-Launch Pivots & Real-Time Reflections
We’ve officially wrapped the VIP Early Access portion of the Sustain Your Success launch — and I’m SO excited to share that we closed out the first 25 spots! I’m seriously so grateful to everyone who showed up during this pre-sales window. It means the world to me, and I cannot wait for you to dig into the materials very soon 🤍

Like wtf, pinch me?!
In true classic launch fashion though, 98% of the sales came in on the last day 😂
As I’ve been in the thick of launch mode, I’ve made a few pivots from the original plan — and I wanted to share some of the real-time learnings below ⬇️
Sales Page Tweaks
I noticed that the original sales page wasn’t converting quite as well as I hoped. I ended up having lots of side conversations via email and DMs (which I genuinely don’t mind — I love chatting with y’all!), but I realized that if that many questions were coming up, the page needed more clarity.
So… I revamped it. And yes, I also (manically) gave it a mini colour rebrand because why not LOL.
Here’s what I changed:
Added a countdown timer at the top for urgency
Filmed a quick video overview of SYS
Rewrote the copy above the fold — since 80%+ of visitors bounce before scrolling, this felt crucial
Also, HUGE shoutout to ChatGPT for helping me code those jumpy CTA buttons. I felt unstoppable once I realized I could make anything (with a little AI assist 😂)
Sales Calls
I suspected I might need to do some sales calls since it’s the first time I’m launching this offer and people naturally have questions. That said, I didn’t want to open the floodgates because I know how draining back-to-back calls can be.
Instead, I tested the waters by casually dropping a booking link on IG Stories (where only my most engaged people usually hang out), and that worked really well. So now, I’m opening it up here too — because I know you’ll respect my time and only book if you’re genuinely curious and interested! Here’s the link to book your Sustain Your Success discovery call 🤍
Final Thoughts
I’m going to keep showing up and sharing Sustain Your Success because I truly believe in this resource and what it can do for purpose-driven founders. I’ll be doing a full debrief on the launch once it’s wrapped, but for now, I just want to share this ⬇️
I’m really proud of how I’ve navigated this launch — promoting, creating, and running the backend without burning out. Have I felt overwhelmed? Yes. Anxious? Yep. Stressed? Definitely. But I haven’t gone over the edge. And that’s a win in my books.
Turns out… my sustainable launch strategies actually work 🫡
Real Growth…
My Burnout Story
This week on the Confessions of a Conscious CEO podcast, I’m getting raw and candid by sharing my burnout story. This is basically the “villain origin story” to why I created Sustain Your Success — I made something I desperately needed back then.
You can watch on YouTube, listen on Spotify, or tune in on Apple Podcasts, whatever you prefer.
And if you’ve been enjoying the revamped podcast, it would mean so much if you left a quick rating or review. It really helps other purpose-driven founders find the show and helps me grow it 🤍
On The Rise of Substack
My friend Elizabeth from Conscious Life & Style and the Conscious Fashion Collective shared this podcast episode about Substack recently, and it was such an insightful listen. Hearing about why creators are migrating there made me reflect too — and ultimately gave me the nudge I needed to finally dive in. If you’ve been Substack curious like we were, definitely give it a listen!
Real Self-Care…
Self-Care Challenge: I’m running my second half-marathon today (hopefully I’ve made it one piece as you’re reading this lol) but the week leading up to it, I took it easy to give my body the rest and recovery it needs. So if your body is asking for rest too? Please listen. It’s not lazy, it’s wise.
Journal Prompt: Where in my life am I feeling unhappy or unsettled? What small actions can I take — or what new perspectives might I need to shift things?
Andd that’s it for this week! I will see you (hopefully in one piece) after I run the half-marathon for next week’s newsletter 🤍
