Making Money on “Easy Mode” (+ Free Resources to Help You Too!)

Making money doesn’t have to feel exhausting. I’m proving it — and I want you to join me!

Hellooo! I hope you had a lovely week + weekend. We’re talking all about money, sales, mindset, recommendations gone wrong, and more in this week’s newsletter so let’s get into it 🤍

Real Talk…

In an online world full of highlight reels, let’s get real and dive into the authentic, unfiltered realities of entrepreneurship and being a founder. Here are some behind-the-scenes musings and reflections from my past week… ⬇️

My Founder Story…

I got vulnerable on Instagram this week and shared why I stepped away from my previous business. I bootstrapped that business from the ground up, and I’m incredibly proud of what I built and the founders I supported — but I did it using a "grow at all costs" strategy.

That meant sacrificing my time, mental health, physical health, and sometimes even my sanity 😵‍💫

And while building a business is hard, it shouldn’t be that hard.

Everything came to a head last summer when I just couldn’t do it anymore 🫣

I knew I still wanted to be a founder and help conscious entrepreneurs thrive… but I couldn’t keep running my business the way I was.

So I made a commitment to:
➡️ Grow my business sustainably
➡️ Put myself first
➡️ Build a business that supports my lifestyle, my bank account, and the planet

And in doing so? I completely transformed my business for me — and now, I help my clients do the same!

If you’re feeling tired, frustrated, or maybe even a little resentful of your business… I get it. I’ve been there. And here’s how we’re going to turn it around… ⬇️

Reshaping My Old Sales & Money Mindsets

I used to believe that making money had to be difficult and "hard work." Because of that, I pressured myself to cram every launch with unrealistic expectations — fully expecting to burn out because that meant I had "given it my all."

Looking back, that mindset was so unhealthy 🫣

Now, I’m reshaping that belief and proving to myself that I can make more money while being healthier and happier. The idea that "making money has to be difficult" was unintentionally passed down by my hard-working immigrant parents and reinforced by society. But recognizing it, understanding where it came from, and challenging it has helped me let go of what no longer serves me.

Now? I’m on a mission to prove that making money can be easy ✨

And not "easy" in the way of stealing ideas or robbing a bank 😂, but in a way that aligns with your strengths and passions — so you’re set up to make money sustainably for you.

If you want to join me in this quest of making money on "easy mode"… ⬇️

You’re Invited to My New Sales Workshop 🎟️

Over the past six months, I’ve challenged myself to hit realistic yet ambitious revenue targets — while keeping my business sustainable.

And by sustainable, I mean:
✅ I can maintain it long-term
✅ I stay excited and energized about what I do
✅ I’m not constantly burning out

Of course, I still have moments of stress and overwhelm. But I’m proud to say I’ve made more money in recent months — without burning out once, and while taking care of myself. I’m also in the best shape of my life (I’ve been training for two half-marathons — my first one is next weekend, so wish me luck!!), and soaking up all that living in Europe has to offer.

I’m not sharing this to brag or make you feel bad about your current situation — I want this to inspire you and show you that it’s possible!

This journey didn’t happen overnight. I’ve spent years experimenting with different strategies and tactics. But it could happen “overnight” for you — because I’m sharing everything in my upcoming sales workshop: "From Who Are You? to Take My Money! – A System for Consistent Sales" 💸

In this workshop, we’ll finalize:
✅ How to create offers that sell and feel fulfilling
✅ How to build a sustainable sales system that works for you
✅ Your personalized launch strategy to make more $$$—without burnout

This isn’t just another fluffy masterclass. I won’t spend half the time talking about myself or trying to sell you something. Instead, I’ll be sharing real strategies I’ve refined over the past few years that I cannot wait to share with you!

PLUS, everyone who attends will get access to a private Instagram group chat for two weeks to get support while implementing everything. And to make things extra easy, I’m also giving you my exact launch planning document, launch marketing templates, and email automations 🤍

This is a paid workshop because I want to ensure everyone takes it seriously. But there are 25 free spots — and as a Sustainable Success Series newsletter subscriber (aka you!!!), you get first dibs. Head over to this webpage and use "SUSTAINABLESALES" at checkout to claim your free spot! 💌

I can’t wait to see you at the workshop and share all my strategies with you!!

Real Business Updates

Let’s skip the fluff and get straight to actionable business insights that spark inspiration, ignite creativity, and solve problems. Check out some interesting trends and insights I found this week... ⬇️

“Recommendations” — Good or Bad?

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about recommendations — whether it’s suggesting a book or movie to a friend, referring a service provider to an entrepreneur, or content creators endorsing a product to their community.

When it’s just between friends, the stakes are low. If they don’t like it, no big deal — there’s no real harm done.

But when a content creator recommends something to their audience and it flops, it erodes trust. And on the flip side, if a brand collaborates with an influencer who later gets “cancelled” or exposed for problematic behaviour, that negative association can damage the brand as well. A recent example? The Rhode x Matilda Djerf collab — Rhode quickly distanced themselves when reports of Matilda’s toxic workplace culture surfaced.

In my case, I often recommend service providers to my clients — branding agencies, accountants, manufacturers, etc. When those recommendations work out, it’s a win for everyone. My clients save time, I connect people in my network, and it strengthens relationships all around. But when it doesn’t go well? It reflects poorly on me too 🫣

Recently, I referred a client to someone in my network, and unfortunately, they’ve had a terrible experience. I think the business has internal communication and organization issues, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating — for my client or for me.

And I’ve been burned by recommendations myself. A mentor once referred me to someone, and it ended up costing me $10,000 USD 🫠 (I’ll share that story when I relaunch my podcast in May… 🍵)

So now, when the stakes are high — especially when it comes to my clients and community — I’m extra cautious with recommendations. I still believe recommendations can be incredibly valuable, but I only make them when I know with certainty that the person or product is solid.

At the end of the day, trust and credibility take time to build but can be lost in an instant. Your brand and reputation are priceless, so be mindful of who and what you align yourself with.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this — have you ever been burned by a recommendation?

Real Growth…

To be the best founder possible, continuous learning and growth are essential. Don’t let yourself become the bottleneck in your business! Here are some self-development resources I found valuable this past week... ⬇️

YouTube Video: With my sales workshop coming up at the end of March, I put out a new YouTube video this week: How to Launch Without Burnout: Sustainable Strategies for Service Providers. If you’re gearing up for a launch (or want to make future ones way less stressful), this is for you. I shared a bunch of tips I wish I had known when building my first business, so I hope it’s helpful!

Podcast Episode: I needed a little inspiration this week, so I revisited one of my favourite episodes from the entrepreneurial podcast My First Million. If you haven’t listened before, fair warning — it’s a bit bro-y. But the co-hosts Sam and Shaan have grown on me (I find their humour hilarious now… maybe I have morphed into a business/tech bro 😂) The episode I wanted to share is this one, where they interview Sarah Moore about her egg carton business 🥚

Yes, you read that right. What I loved about this episode is that it proves you can make money doing anything. There are so many inspiring entrepreneurs out there — people who aren’t on social media, aren’t building personal brands, but are just silently crushing it. And honestly? That’s super admirable.

Real Self-Care…

Sustainable success can only happen if you take care of yourself. Self-care is not selfish — it’s necessary. Here are some self-care tools to recharge and stay balanced this week... ⬇️

Self-Care Challenge: This week, give your body the stretch it deserves! Whether it’s a full yoga session or simply sinking into child’s pose for a few minutes, take some time to reset. We spend way too much of our lives hunched over our laptops or staring down at our tiny phone screens — let’s counteract that with a good stretch session. Your body will thank you!

Journal Prompt: What unhelpful money stories are you holding onto? Where did they come from? What do you want to believe about money instead? And how can you start reinforcing that new belief moving forward?

Quote / Affirmation: "Making money can be easy and feel fulfilling." — Me

Andd that’s it for this week! Catch you on my Instagram + Stories and please send me positive thoughts for my half-marathon next weekend 😅 Have a great week!! 🤍
