I Needed a Reset... (And Maybe You Do Too?)

An honest update, a self-reflection framework, and something just for you đź‘€

Hellooo, I hope you’ve been doing well!! Candidly, the past few weeks have been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I made the intentional decision to pause, get quiet, and check in with myself. In this email, I’m sharing what came up, what I’ve been reflecting on, and a little something just for you too. Let’s dive in 🤍

Real Talk…

In an online world full of highlight reels, let’s get real and dive into the authentic, unfiltered realities of entrepreneurship and being a founder. Here are some behind-the-scenes musings and reflections from my past week… ⬇️

My “Spiral” 🌀

Candidly, the past few weeks have been rough. I’ve been navigating a tricky situation with a client’s manufacturer, processing the fact that we’re leaving London soon (you heard it here first!), dealing with unexpected wedding changes that require a new date, and trying to keep my business running, create the Sustain Your Success courses, show up online, be a good daughter, be a good friend… you get the picture.

In short: I was trying to do it all — and not doing any of it particularly well. I felt stretched thin, overwhelmed, and totally in my head.

So I hit pause.

My partner went back to Canada for the past 2.5 weeks, and that solo time gave me the space I didn’t know I needed. I can absolutely reflect when he’s around too, but there’s something about having an empty home that lets you get quiet and go deeper. I turned it into a mini self-led “retreat” — full of journaling, reflection, and long solo brainstorming sessions about my career and business. And I want to share a couple of frameworks that really helped me.

What’s Not Working?

Whenever I start spiraling, it’s usually because something isn’t working — and I’ve been avoiding it.

Most of the time, we do know what we want. We do know what’s off. But we push it down, make excuses, or stay busy so we don’t have to deal with it. This time, I decided to write it all out — what I want to change, what’s no longer serving me, what I want instead.

Yes, I’m deeply grateful for so much in my life. But that doesn’t cancel out the fact that some things needed to shift.

How Can You Take Action?

Once you’ve faced what’s not working, the next step is: what are you going to do about it?

Big goals can feel impossible when you’re standing at the starting line. But when you break them into manageable steps, it gets a lot more doable.

Ask yourself:

  • What actions do I need to take to move closer to what I want?

  • What’s one small step I can take today?

  • What mindset shifts will support me in this season?

What’s Next

This clarity exercise gave me a new perspective on how I want to move forward in my career and business. As many of you know, I used to work with sustainable fashion brands through Recloseted. Last year, I expanded to support a wider range of conscious founders — which was exciting, but I think I went too broad.

To be fair, I was in an exploratory season. But now, I think I’m honing in on the people and work that feel most aligned. It still needs to be tested (I’m not making any bold declarations just yet), but it’s looking promising. I’ll share more on a future Confessions of a Conscious CEO podcast when I’m ready!

This whole process was a reminder of the exact framework I walk my clients through in Sustain Your Products — the sweet spot where what you’re good at, what you love, what the market needs, and what actually pays you all intersect.

Your Feedback

Since we’re getting reflective: I’d love your input!

I pour a lot of time, care, and energy into everything I make — from this newsletter to the podcast and YouTube channel — and it would mean a lot to know what’s resonating with you.

With this newsletter specifically, my goal is to create something you want to read. The kind of email you actually open, not delete. I personally only have one newsletter I read religiously every week — and I want this to be that kind of space for you, too.

Sooo let me know,

  • What parts of the newsletter do you love?

  • What do you want more of?

  • What feels “meh” or skippable?

This newsletter takes a lot of time and love to create, and I want to make sure it’s giving you real value. Just hit reply and I’d be so grateful to hear from you!! 🤍

Real Business Updates

Let’s skip the fluff and get straight to actionable business insights that spark inspiration, ignite creativity, and solve problems. Check out some interesting trends and insights I found this week... ⬇️

Who Said Billboards Are Dead?

Okay fine, the appeal of billboard ads has definitely dipped since the rise of social media and the allure of “cheaper,” more measurable paid ads. But I loved this recent campaign Canva ran in the UK.

It was smart, cheeky, and buzzworthy — not because it was on a billboard, but because it nailed their audience.

They understood their target user (designers), spoke directly to their pain points, and made people feel seen, which is what good marketing is all about, no matter the medium.

Real Growth…

To be the best founder possible, continuous learning and growth are essential. Don’t let yourself become the bottleneck in your business... ⬇️

Sustain Your Success

ICYMI, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes putting the finishing touches on my Sustain Your Success ecosystem of resources!

This has been years in the making. I took everything I’ve learned over the past six years running a sustainable fashion consultancy — the wins, the lessons, the exact strategies that helped my clients launch and grow successfully — and distilled it all into a series of in-depth, plug-and-play courses.

And just to be clear: this isn’t one of those “buy now, forget later” courses.

This is a complete playbook packed with sustainable strategies, actionable tactics, and done-for-you templates so you can implement immediately. I built the exact resource I wish I had when I was first starting out — and I’m incredibly proud of it.

But don’t just take my word for it… here’s what clients are saying… ⬇️

🧠 Sustain Your Products – Nail your perfect offers by finding the intersection of your strengths, passions, ideal customer needs, and market demand.

đź’¸ Sustain Your Sales – Build a sustainable sales system that runs on autopilot and brings in consistent income.

📣 Sustain Your Marketing – Set up a content and marketing system that attracts, nurtures, and converts — without burning you out.

🚀 Sustain Your Launch – Hit your launch goals (without hitting a wall).

For the best results (and the best deal), I recommend going through the full Sustain Your Success ecosystem — they are designed to work together. But if you want to focus on just one area of your business for now, you can grab any course individually too.

Now that we’re out of the launch period, regular pricing is officially back.
But I know a few of you missed it — so for the next 24 hours only…

✨ Use code LAUNCH to get $100 off any individual course
✨ Or use SYSLAUNCH to get $500 off the full Sustain Your Success bundle

These codes expire in 24 hours — so if you’ve been eyeing one (or all) of the courses, now’s your chance. As always, if you have any questions at all, just hit reply — I’m always happy to help 🤍

Real Self-Care…

Sustainable success can only happen if you take care of yourself. Self-care is not selfish — it’s necessary. Here are some self-care tools to recharge and stay balanced this week... ⬇️

Self-Care Challenge: Get Honest with Yourself

As you may know, real self-care isn’t just bubble baths or just slowing down — it’s telling yourself the truth. So this week’s challenge is…

📝 Write down everything that’s not working for you right now.
No judgment. No sugarcoating. Just a clear list of the things that are draining you, stressing you out, or feeling out of alignment.

This is the first step in creating change — and the exact exercise that helped pull me out of my recent spiral.

Journal Prompt: What’s currently not working for me — and what am I pretending is fine that actually isn’t?

Anddd that’s it for this week! I hope you’re doing well and thanks in advance for sending me your feedback on the newsletter 🤍
